Physical & Psychological Stress Injuries

The demands of military training, let alone deployment, test the endurance of all human beings. It’s not unusual to have some physical or emotional discomfort after military service. Let us help you get the professional assistance you need.

An estimated 30% of the 1.8 million troops who served in Iraq and Afghanistan return with post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injuries and/or depression. Many of veterans receive wholly inadequate support in returning to civilian life. The most concerning part is that we know substance abuse, car accidents, domestic abuse, divorce, and even suicide result from lack of attention to or inadequate treatment of these kinds of conditions.

It goes without saying that the needs of service personnel and veterans are many and varied. Our government is ill-equipped to handle all of the potentialities on its own. It takes the cooperation of the entire civilian community pulling together to really help. Please consider becoming a Bonds of Courage volunteer or donor today. The troops, their families and our nation need you.
